The theme for this week's Unplugged Project is water. The boys and I decided to make aluminum foil boats and then float them with as many pennies as they could hold before sinking.
We made our boats out of 1 square foot sheet of aluminum foil (Daddy wanted to make one, too):
We guessed how many pennies our boats would hold. Corey guessed his would hold 7, Zachary guessed his would hold 16, and Daddy guessed his would hold 12:
Then we tested them out, and Corey's boat won:
Corey's boat held 50, Zachary's boat held 26, and Daddy's boat held 14.

I just wanted to tell you I love your blog. The titles always make me snicker and I'm constantly bookmarking them for things to do with my son.
Hey, not fair! You let them build boats that were twice as big as mine! That being said, at least I was closest to predicting how many my boat would hold.
