The pubescent doorknob tripped over the invisible chandelier, or Peanut butter and jelly.

First we made a peanut butter, strawberry, banana and spinach smoothie with the peanuts we shelled:

Then we made jelly:

We made peanut shell finger puppets while we microwaved the strawberries, sugar and lemon juice:

And then we made banana hot dogs. We spread the peanut butter, added the banana, and squirted the jelly through a hole in a zip-top bag:

How did you make your jelly?

jennwa: I blended 1/2 cup peanuts with about a teaspoon of peanut oil (but I usually just use store-bought peanut butter), then blended it with maybe 5 or 6 frozen strawberries, a banana, a handful of spinach, a handful of ice and some milk (not sure how much; I just poured some in). I usually put in yogurt and water instead, but I was out of yogurt.

BranFlakes: Stir together 16oz frozen strawberries and 1/3 cup sugar in a microwaveable dish; microwave, uncovered, on high for 2 minutes; stir and cut berries into small pieces; add juice of 1/2 a lemon; stir; microwave for 10 minutes, stirring after 5; cool and store in fridge for 2 weeks or freezer for 4 months.
