
So we had some key limes left over from when we made
key lime pie. I made key lime salad dressing (vinegar-free for my vinegar-phobic husband), but still there were limes. I toyed with the idea of having the kids make me a key lime margarita, with some help from this:

But instead we decided on fudge (
original recipe).
First we crushed the graham crackers:

Then we mixed together melted butter and sugar:

And stirred in the crushed graham crackers:

We spread the mixture evenly into a pan:

After baking for about 4 minutes, we let it cool and melted our white chocolate (Lindt) and sweetened condensed milk:

And then added key lime juice and zest:

After we poured the mixture over the graham cracker crust and let it chill for two hours, out came this:

And here are the boys eating 1/32 of it:


And I still have a few limes left over for my margarita.
