Alex and I were married on the palindromic 8/9/98 and celebrated our 12th anniversary this Monday, 8/9/10. If he's lucky and I get up in time, I usually send him off to work with a turkey and cheese sandwich, but on Monday, our "silk" anniversary, I made the above bento lunch (pictured atop a red play silk, which was finally used for something other than a superhero cape or a river of blood).
