The lonely dimwit distracted the trustworthy throat, or Sticker books and a castle of books.





The theme for this week's Unplugged project, which is being guest-hosted by Chronicle of an Infant Bibliophile, is "books."

First we made sticker books out of construction paper, wax paper and yarn:





And then we decided to make a castle like this one from Castle of Books:



Here is our attempt:





It should be done in about a month...

Fun ideas! The castle building looks like it will occupy them for awhile...one book for the wall, and..hey, this one looks good, let me just sit and read this...

My husband and I just love your intros for each of your posts, such fun.
I love the idea of building a castle of books, but my children would never agree and we'd need five castles and they'd all one their one to be the biggest!

We build our book castles in a way kind of like stacking a deck of playing cards. Goes much faster. Just have to find similar size books. Probably not the best for the books, but fun nonetheless.
