The chocolate-covered mathematician preached to the doomed fig, or Nutella bread pudding.

For our pre-dinner dessert today we made Nutella bread pudding (original recipe).

First we spread Nutella on a slice of bread and covered it with a second slice:

Then we cut into small cubes:

And whisked together 1 egg, 1/8 cup sugar and 1/2 cup soy milk:

We soaked the bread cubes in the milk mixture:

Then poured the mixture into a greased ramekin and added more Nutella:

And baked for 25 minutes at 325 degrees:

And ate:

I just love the creativity of your blog titles. They make me chuckle.

What I don't love however, is nutella *pout*, I know I'm some kind of nutella-unappreciating fool. I don't feel the hazelnutty goodness. So instead I'm imagining the brown goo is.... umm..... melted easter-eggs! (or something less random)

Happy Saturday Share-fest!

Happy Saturday Sharefest! Holy cow, I LOVE Nutella. That looks delicious. Hmmm. And only one of my four children like nutella. I'd only have to share with one... hee hee. Oh, the other three? Let them eat cake. ; )
