The drooling joker exterminated the bashful ignoramus, or Taco salad.

Tonight's dinner was taco salad. We started with the tortilla chips.

First we painted corn tortillas with vegetable oil:

Then cut out some shapes:

And set the chips on a baking sheet with parchment paper:

We salted them and baked at 375 for 10 minutes, flipped, and then baked again for 7 minutes.

Then we put our taco salads together, using chopped tomatoes, baby spinach, kidney beans, shredded cheese, tortilla chips and salsa:
